Fintevo's web-based trading platform works on all major web browsers. This guide tells you exactly which browsers are supported and how to troubleshoot in case you experience any issues.

Part 1: Supported Web Browsers

Fintevo is fully compatible with:

  • Google Chrome (recommended, latest version)

  • Mozilla Firefox (latest version)

  • Microsoft Edge (latest version)

  • Safari (latest version)

We recognise that traders have different preferences. Some prefer Chrome's speed, others like Firefox's customisation and some exclusively use Safari or Edge. By supporting all major browsers, we ensure you can trade on your preferred trading platform without compromising your preferred web-browser. However, we always recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser for the best performance and security.


Part 2: How to Check Your Browser Version

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three (3) vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of your browser

  2. Select "Help" → "About Google Chrome"


​Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the hamburger menu (≡) in the top-right corner of your browser

  2. Select "Help" → "About Firefox"


​Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three (3) horizontal dots (⋯) in the top-right corner of your browser

  2. Select "Help and feedback" → "About Microsoft Edge"
    ​

Safari:

  1. Click "Safari" in the menu bar (top-left)

  2. Select "About Safari"

  3. Your version displays in the window

Part 3: Tips for Optimal Platform Performance

1) Keep your browser updated - why it matters:

  • Latest security patches protect your trading account

  • Performance improvements make the platform faster

  • Bug fixes prevent login and trading issues

  • Most browsers should update automatically, but sometimes they don't

  • Check your browser version (see instructions above)

  • Restart your browser if an update is pending

2) Clear your browser cache - why it matters:

  • Removes old data that may cause slow loading

  • Removes old data that may be conflicting with the platform

  • Fixes display issues (charts not loading, buttons not responding etc)

  • Resolves most login issues

How to clear cache:

Google Chrome:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (MacBook)

  2. Select "All time" from the time range dropdown

  3. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"

  4. Click "Clear data"
    ​

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (MacBook)

  2. Select "Everything" from the time range dropdown

  3. Click "Clear Now"
    ​

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (MacBook)

  2. Select "All time" from the time range dropdown

  3. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"

  4. Click "Clear now"

Safari:

  1. Click "Safari" in the menu bar

  2. Select "Clear History..."

  3. Choose "All history" from the dropdown

  4. Click "Clear History"

3) Disable Browser Extensions That Conflict

Extensions that commonly cause issues:

  • Ad blockers (they block platform scripts)

  • VPN tools (cause login failures)

  • Password managers (interfere with form filling)

  • Browser toolbars (outdated and conflict with layout)

How to disable extensions:

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the puzzle icon (🧩) in the top-right corner of your browser

  2. Find the extension causing issues

  3. Click "Manage extensions"

  4. Toggle the extension OFF

  5. Refresh Fintevo and test
    ​

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the hamburger menu (≡) in the top-right of your browser

  2. Select "Add-ons and extensions"

  3. Find the extension causing issues

  4. Click "Disable"

  5. Refresh Fintevo and test
    ​

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three horizontal dots (⋯) in the top-right

  2. Select "Extensions"

  3. Find the extension causing issues

  4. Toggle it OFF

  5. Refresh Fintevo and test


​Safari:

  1. Click "Safari" in the menu bar

  2. Select "Preferences" → "Extensions"

  3. Select the extension causing issues

  4. Click "Uninstall"

  5. Refresh Fintevo and test

Part 4: Quick Overview

  • Fintevo works on all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari etc)

  • Always use the latest browser version for security and performance

  • Clear cache and disable extensions if you experience any issues

  • Most problems could be solved by clearing cache or simply updating your browsers

  • Contact support if any issue persists after troubleshooting your web browser and device
